Risk2009™ is a client-server application. It runs on standard Microsoft technology, although its open architecture can interface with other industry databases, such as Oracle and IBM, used in client’s ERP and other internal systems.

The software is provided under a software license. Pricing is dependent on the number of server and client (user) licenses purchased. Our focused approach allows us to maintain licensing costs at a low level for our clients.

Low redundancy of functionality		Our claims expertise allows us to focus on the functionality required to manage claims. By targeting specific industries we build functionality that more accurately reflects the claims process within those industries than a generic risk management information system. The result is functionality that more accurately matches our clients’ needs. With Risk2009™ you are not paying for functionality you will not use.

Mainstream Technology		Our technology solutions are built on stable, accepted mainstream technologies. As a provider of specialist claims software, we avoid leading edge technologies. We have found that these technologies are less well accepted and carry a significant development cost which is not reflected in the added value delivered to our clients. We believe these development costs are best absorbed in the underlying technologies (databases and middleware) which can be spread broadly across different industries and specialty applications. We monitor these developments and incorporate them cost effectively into our software as they are become accepted as mainstream technology.

Data Integration

The Risk2009™ is designed to interface with external systems. This allows the user to pull data into the claims systems without having to re-enter the data. It also allows data to be pushed to external systems from Risk2009™. The system should be able to interface with any external relational database. Systems we have interfaced with include:
