We focus in three industries: transportation, the public sector and third party claims administrators.
Transportation
CRM first developed claims software to handle transportation claims. We have continued to focus in this sector developing a deep expertise in technology solutions for transportation companies. Risk2009™ is used by some of the largest motor carriers in the United States.
Functionality developed specifically for the transportation industry includes:
- Cargo and OS&D claims handling capabilities. One system handles all claims whether they are cargo claims, workers compensation, damage to your equipment or liability. The occurrence structure tracks the cost of a single accident across all types of claims.
- Specific reporting package: our transportation reports provide our clients with reporting formats most commonly used by transportation companies, including DOT reportable, DOT recordable, cause of accident, incidents by driver and critical crashes.
- Integration with dispatch systems to import driver, load and route information and to track claims against bill of lading reference numbers.
- Driver safety and training logs within the safety module
Our technology meets the claims handling needs of for hire carriers, private carriers and logistics companies.
Public Sector
Risk2009™ is ideally suited to the needs of public sector clients from small cities and towns to large municipalities and governmental risk pools. Our clients include:

The data structure of the Risk2009™ application is complaint with the Public Entity Risk Institute (PERI) data exchange, a national database and benchmarking tool of public sector claims data. Data from Risk2009™ can be sent directly into the PERI Data Exchange.
Third Party Claims Administrators (TPAs)
Our claims software was first developed and tested for a third party claims administrator and has been used by TPAs for over twenty years.
With its ability to handle multiple types of claims without bias towards a particular type of claim, Risk2009™ is an effective software solution for TPAs. Deployed on a client/server architecture it gives a TPA control of its claims data and files while allowing its adjusters to operate off the same claims database.
